A little about me
I am a father of three, a software developer and an entrepreneur. I built the Potty Training Box to help parents with potty training.
I constantly have new ideas, and for years I have read books on personal development.
My background
I have built software for more than twenty years. Since 2013 I do it as a freelance senior .NET developer and consultant, with my own company, Duvade.
Online learning is a field I know from the inside. For seven years I helped build the online learning platform of a large training company, with assignments, video response training, an online learning library and its own content system.
Since 2018 I run the Zindelijkheidsbox (Potty Training Box): international webshops that help busy parents start potty training at the age of two.
Helping people learn is not new to me either. Early in my career I coached trainees and taught experienced programmers new skills. I took training in personal effectiveness and assertiveness, and in 2026 an NLP Practitioner training.
What helped me
Meditation helped me when I had to process my divorce. I used to get overstimulated easily, and now I can handle much more.
Exercise plays a big part in that: it keeps my energy in balance and helps me process stimuli.
Why Coach Kontra
What I learned along the way: having ideas is easy. Choosing what you really want, and then doing it and sticking with it, is the hard part.
That is what Coach Kontra is for. Short lessons, exercises you fill in yourself, and a coach that does not just agree with you, so you know what you want and take the first step.
How the videos are made
The videos show a digital version of me, made with AI, so what you see and hear was not recorded in a studio. I write the content myself.
